we do not experience internal thought-forms as a shaped miasmata of the external language. we do not have an internal dialogue at all unless we intentionally start narrating in our head about the current occurrences and occupations of our mind. we used to do it a lot—it’s one of the bad habits we’ve managed to unlearn. it only comes back if we are in distress or danger. our thoughts are totally silent. we only hear/see language when we externalize something—like when we prepare to say something or write something down. we also see images etc in form of diagrams (sometimes three-dimensional)—and other visual aids or sounds or tactile sensations etc—if they are relevant to immanent actualising application of the thought-forms—if it’s a practical solution of a physical problem for example (they explain how to solve the problem). we also hear an internal voice narrating when we are reading—although we’re trying to unlearn this habit because silent reading is more effective and efficacious.
