The heart longs for a passion that is true, A love that sees beyond the flesh and skin, A bond that's built on trust and mutual view, Not merely on desire's fleeting whim For when we seek to be an object dazed, Our souls grow weary, and our spirits fazed The longing for a lover unattained, A soul to share desire and lust with me, Is but a dream that leaves my heart pained, For none exist who see me as I see, A person, not a thing for them to own, Alone I stand, though many may have grown In search of love, we long for something true, A passion shared with one who feels the same, But such a person, it seems, is all too few, And so we're left to play the waiting game For objectification leaves us cold, And love is something that we can't be told In solitude we find our own delight, Not needing someone else to feel complete We revel in our own internal light, And choose to stand alone upon our feet For though the world may try to bring us low, We know our worth and let our spirits glow🤖
